ROSCOE LOCATION
Amnesty Viveros earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Rockford University, in 2018 and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Judson University in 2022. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and has spent the past three years working primarily with court-involved adolescents, helping them navigate life's challenges while building resilience and hope for the future.
Amnesty is EMDR-trained and Polyvagal-informed. She believes that healing happens through genuine connection and structured therapy to meet each client's unique needs. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Polyvagal Theory, she works collaboratively with clients to help them develop insight, build practical coping skills, and move toward lasting change.
Her goal is to provide a trauma-informed, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Amnesty believes everyone has a story worth telling and deserves the opportunity to heal in an environment built on trust, compassion, and authenticity. Whether you're facing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, she is committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.
When she's not in the therapy room, Amnesty enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, getting lost in a good book, binge-watching true crime documentaries, and exploring new local restaurants.
