Katina Toufexis graduated with her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Judson Evangelist University in 2019. She has a background working with children, adolescence, and adults in emergency circumstances being employed in local hospitals as an Emergency Therapist. She has a background for working in community mental health service centers. Katina is passionate about helping others who suffers from trauma/stress related disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders while using CBT, narrative therapy, exposure therapy, ITP ( interpersonal therapy), DBT, etc.
Katina considers herself as an eclectic therapist who believes that "Different modalities are necessary depending on your client's needs."
Katina also has worked with clients with depression, mental health crises, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, etc.
In her free time, Katina enjoys kayaking, swimming, and researching. Family is also important.
